Brennon Williams, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Hobbies: engineering, programming, tennis, golf, writing, finance and investing, physics, and watchmaking.
Brennon started his professional science career in 5th grade with the debut of his publication Science Monthly, a free journal that featured interviews with Nobel Laureates and award winning scientists. Science Monthly became Science Quarterly when Brennon reached the 6th grade, and the final issue was published 1st Quarter 2010. SQ was then put on hold for Brennon to be able to write his monthly column in the popular engineering magazine Servo. Brennon’s column is published every month and is aimed towards helping other teens get acquainted with science and technology.
Brennon started BW Science Labs as only a blog when he reached age 13. Two years later BW Science Labs has been featured in numerous other blogs including MAKE and Boing Boing. In 2009 BW Science Labs won Sun Microsystems’s Digital Open competition for youth innovation.
Yishan Lin, Public Relations & Website Manager
Yishan started his blogging and website management experience at the age of 10, working on simple blogs that established a strong foundation. He first created his own blog in fifth grade, writing about online Flash games and guides to beat them. His first WordPress website lasted for three years, eventually accumulating around 50,000 views worldwide. His second website was based on Club Penguin, which started when he was in sixth grade, where he offered tips and guides. The website lasted for four years, appeared on the first page of Google without the use of advertisements or spam in order to generate higher amount of traffic. He has extensive experience in managing websites, a deep collection of methods in which to increase traffic, and collaborates with Brennon Williams for the company and its financial future.
Yishan Lin started working at BW Science Labs in April of 2010, working to increase traffic flow to the website and managing spam. He is currently working on several projects with Brennon to add to the store, and is currently increasing the flow of traffic to the website.
